The end of our 99th year and the start of our 100th got underway with a whirlwind of wonderful media coverage. In January 2019, the Beaumont Inn and Innkeeper Dixon Dedman were featured in The New York Times discussing the history behind Kentucky Owl Bourbon and of the Inn. The 2019 Kentucky Visitor’s Guide, Kentucky Living Magazine and Kentucky Monthly Magazine celebrated our southern hospitality, food, and traditions, and also examined our 100-year history. Earlier in 2018, the Beaumont Inn and the Old Owl Tavern received awards from The Bourbon Review, for the Inn, as one of the best places to stay in Bourbon Country, and for the Tavern, named one of the best bourbon bars in America. From The New York Times to Southern Living Magazine, which named the Beaumont Inn one of the South’s Top 20 Charming Inns and one of the South’s best places to stay, the coverage our Inn has received has been remarkable.
