The Main Dining Room at Beaumont Inn features classic Kentucky cuisine and southern hospitality inside our historic 1845 building. In celebration of receiving the James Beard Foundation America’s Classic Award in 2015 (read more about that), we have brought back some favorites that have been served at the inn for five generations. Plus, shorts are now allowed in the dining room. but proper dress is still recommended (think dressy casual).
On the menu, choose from a variety of our Traditional Beaumont Inn Classic Dishes, including Corn Pudding, Country Ham, and Fried Chicken. Many of the other dishes on the menu have long-standing positions including the two very Classic Starters, the Minted Grapefruit Juice and the Tomato Aspic Salad. The weekly Classic Beaumont Inn Vegetable will include favorites like Mock-Scalloped Oysters, Kentucky Green Rice, Candied Kershaw or Yellow Squash Soufflé. And don’t forget the General Robert E. Sunday Brunch: Our popular Sunday brunch features Beaumont Inn’s favorites including cheese grits, eggs, bacon, fried chicken, Kentucky country ham, corn pudding, assorted vegetables and plenty of desserts!
